8:45 AM Group meeting at Lady Bird Johnson Municipal Park. First group and independents leave at 9:00 AM. Second group leaves at 9:05 AM. Third group leaves at 9:10, the fourth group at 9:15, the fifth group, if necessary, at 9:20.
Prior to arriving at Pecos West Rest Stop, I will stop at the Donut Palace in Junction TX. There will be a provisioning stop at the Walmart in Fort Stockton. I need to purchase sausages for the Pancake Breakfast. If you have space in your freezer and are willing to store sausage until the breakfast, please let me know.

Fort Stockton located at 301 E 3rd St, Fort Stockton, TX 79735; GPS 30.888210389876726, -102.87486974276077. Fort Stockton was an important location during the Indian Wars Fort from 1867-1886. It was strategically placed at the life-saving waters of Comanche Springs to protect the San Antonio-to-El Paso mail, freight wagons, cattle drives, and emigrants. The fort was garrisoned by the 9th Cavalry, known as “Buffalo Soldiers”.
