Arrival at the Darke County Fairgrounds, 800 Sweitzer St., Greenville, Ohio.
11:00 AM – 1:00 PM – Check in – Site A 123
Check in at site A123. Pay the Rally fee if you have not already, get your Rally sticker and Permanant name tag if you don’t already have one.
2:00 PM – 5:00 PM – A.R. Winery
Meet and Greet at the A.R. Winery, 3564 Gordon-Landis Road, Arcanum, OH (6 or so miles from Fairgrounds) wine, beer, soda pop, and Chicago style wood fired pizza, all made on site. There is limited parking, so please make any arrangements you can to car pool. A.R. Winery is Darke County’s only microbrewery. See here for driving instructions and Here for details on the winery.

12:00 Noon – 1:00 PM – Pancake Breakfast Meeting
A short organizational meeting for the pancake breakfast the following morning. Who does what, and what’s needed.
1:00 PM – 3:00 PM – Bears Mills Grist Mill
Bears Mills Grist Mill is a working (demonstration) water wheel powered grist mill. On site are tours, demonstrations, a nice gift shop, and a pottery artist’s studio and gift shop next door. There are walking trails along the river. We will have snacks available outsidee the Mill.
4:00 PM – 6:30 PM – Mexican Dinner on your own at La Carreta Mexican Restaurant
La Carreta is a Mexican restaurant located at 925 Sweitzer Street, directly across from the fairgrounds. The restaurant is walkable from the campground. La Carreta has good Mexican food, a bar, informal atmosphere, is a fairly sizeable place that seats around a hundred or so and had reasonable prices. If you are going, go earlier for dinner (4PM or so) rather than later as it may get busy around 5:00 PM or later.
Many restaurants in Greenville are closed on Sundays (but my be open for eclipse weekend) but La Carreta will be open. Go with a group, share a table or booth and make new View/Navion friends!
7:30 PM – Left Center Right – Ohio Center Building
A fun and easy dice game. No experience necessary. A great way to meet your fellow campers. Bring $3 in one dollar bills. Win Money!!

Eclipse Day Activities (most will be in the Ohio Building, however the Eclipse will be outside).

8:30 AM -9:30 AM – Pancake and Sausage Breakfast – Ohio Building
The Pancake Breakfast will be held at the Ohio Building between 8:30 AM and 9:30 AM, or whenever everyone has been served. We will be serving fresh cooked, light, fluffy pancakes, and delectable sausages, Maple Syrup and coffee.
Diners are requested to bring their own silverware, napkins, a chair and cup for coffee. Get on line and get a plate, and have it filled with hot, delicious fresh pancakes and sausage.
10:30- 11:30 AM – General Interest Sessions – Ohio Building
- Use your VOM Multimeter – John Connolly
- Starlink Basics – What to know and What’s New – Bob Kelly
- V/N Maintainence and Mods – Len Casella, Bob Kelly, Kent Gardam and you, a cast of 1,000’s.
12:00 Noon – Make your own Pizza – Ohio Building
Bring your grill, cheese and toppings. Crust and Pizza sauc will be provided. – Chris Rigby
1:53 PM – Solar Eclipse Starts
Partial Solar Eclipse begins
3:08 PM – 3:12 PM – Total Solar Eclipse
4:25 PM -Partial Solar Eclipse Ends
5:15 PM – Group picture
Gather together at the Ohio Building, bring your pets also, if you desire, for a group picture. Always a fun event.
5:30 PM – Beer and Wine Swap & Tasting Social Hour – Ohio Center
Gather together at the Ohio Building for refreshements. There will be beer swap. Bring your favorite local beer or wine and trade for someone else’s favorite local brew or vintage.
6:30 PM – Potluck
Potluck Dinner in the Ohio Building. Bring enough food to feed 4 to 6 people. Please don’t feel you have to overdue it.
8:00 PM – Left-Right-Center game
Meet in the Ohio Building. Left Center Right is a dice game. Bring $3 and make your fortune.
