The 2023 View Navion Fall Meet at the Pond is a fall gathering at Lums Pond State Park locates in Bear, Delaware September 19, through September 22, 2023.
Lums Pond State Park is an hour north of Baltimore and about an hour from Mercedes Benz of Maple Shade, New Jersey where Justin Copley works. Participants are encouraged to contact MB of Maple Shade for service appointments prior to or after the event.
The focus of the gathering is more of a meet up than a rally. Currently, no activities are scheduled, but Lums Pond has hiking and biking trails, fishing, boating and off leash dog area. Boat rentals and Go Ape Zipline and Adventure Park are available. Some people are planning on arriving the weekend before and staying until Sunday after the rally. In the area, there are two waterfront restaurants, The Grain (2 miles) and Schaefer’s Canal House (6 miles). Both are within biking distance of the campground.
Reservations can be made through Reserve America. The park is very popular and will fill up fast. Lisa Edwards, the Rally Master/Group Get together leader will be at Site 30. As of August 20, 2023, there are no available sites. Please contact Lisa if you would like a spot IF a cancellation occurs.
