8:45 AM Group meeting at Shepard State Park. First group and independents leave at 9:00 AM.
Prior to arriving at Fairview-Riverside State Park, LA, I will rent a vehicle from Enterprise at Slidell LA. it’s about 34 miles from Fairview-Riverside State Park, about 40 minutes from the park. The general plan is to leave the park for New Orleans as soon as possible after setting up at the campground. Tentative plans are for dinner and attractions in New Orleans in the evening and return to the campground before 10 PM.

Campground Details:
Fairview-Riverside State Park, LA, is located on the north side of Lake Pontchartrain. The plan is to rent a vehicle and tour the French Quarter and other sights in New Orleans. The stay is for two days.
Fairview-Riverside State Park, provides electricity, water, showers, and a dump station. I have a reservation in Site C1025. Check in time is 4 PM.
We have 10 coaches and 16 people coming from Shepard State Park. There will be an additional 2 coaches and 4 people arriving at Fairview-Riverside State Park.
